BUZCOM is an innovative communications company specialising in Wireless Radio Links.

Based in Chelmsford, Essex, the company supplies the infrastructure for the FibreWiFi Broadband Network (www.fibrewifi.com) in the East of England.

Buzcom is exhibiting a breakthrough product at IBC 2010 in association with the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering at The University of Essex.

This product is known as The SkyView Array and is an Active Phased Antenna Array supporting Multi-Gigabit Wireless Transmission.

Buzcom is working in association with the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering at Essex University to develop commercial opportunities for this breakthrough design.

The antenna functions in the 60GHz band. At this frequency penetration is an issue; however the SkyView Array provides improved range compared with current generation antennas.
